Developed in collaboration with Thom Laepple, Studie zur Sehnsucht (Studies on Longing/Seeing) is a sculptural ensemble, with a reactive system connected to a geophone and a seismograph, which sense the location’s seismic activity.

Kerstin Ergenzinger is an artist working in the fields of installation, electronic arts, sculpture, and drawing. Her work revolves around perception itself, around subliminal phenomena and processes, which strongly inform how we feel, act, and think. She uses machines as media and instruments for conducting inquiries into the world. Alongside her studio practice, she is frequently involved in collaborative and research projects.
